About us

The Knights Booster Club is charged with raising the private investment needed to establish CPC Athletics as an emerging power on the national athletics stage. The alumni and friends who comprise the Knights Booster Club family advance our mission positioning every team and every student-athlete to compete for championships, to excel in the classroom, to represent CPC with honor, and to leave CPC well prepared for success after the final whistle. Annual gifts to the Knights Club and to scholarships help support critical operations for our student-athletes.

USCAA Compliance

U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA Division II)

CPC is fully committed to adhering to all USCAA bylaws. CPC is responsible for the conduct of any individual or organization affiliated with CPC Athletics. As a contributor to CPC Athletics, you are considered a representative of athletics interests (i.e., "booster"), by the USCAA; thus, you are responsible for adhering to all UCSAA bylaws.

As a member of the Knights Club, you are considered by the UCSAA to be a "booster". The USCAA defines a "booster" in a number of ways, including anyone who has ever made a financial contribution to the Knights or purchased tickets for a CPC event. In order to assure that CPC Athletics upholds the integrity of USCAA policies designed to promote a fair and sportsmanlike college sports environment, we ask that you - as a member of the Knights family - take the time to acquaint yourself with this important information. If you have questions, please consult our Athletics Compliance office.

Please remember, recruiting is the responsibility of CPC coaching staff members. It is not permissible for you to recruit on behalf of CPC Athletics (e.g., call, write, evaluate, or contact). Any questions that you receive from a prospective student-athlete regarding the athletics program must be directed to the respective coaching staff of the CPC Athletics Compliance Office. Also, it is not permissible to provide any benefits to current CPC student-athletes or prospective student-athletes that is not available to the general public or general student body.

Any violation of the rules and regulations of the USCAA and your privileges and benefits as a booster/donor will be terminated. As part of the CPC Family, we ask you to join our efforts in maintaining the success and atmosphere of compliance of our athletic programs. Please feel free to contact the Compliance Office.

Always remember, "Ask Before You Act."

Boosters are prohibited from involvement in recruiting prospective student-athletes. A prospective student-athlete is anyone who has started seventh grade classes for Men’s basketball, or ninth grade classes for all other sports. Boosters should contact CPC Athletics staff about any questions in this regard, and refrain from attempting to contact any prospect or to influence his or her decision to attend CPC. Such contact includes activity on Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites.

Please contact the CPC Athletics Compliance staff with any questions about the rules governing booster contact with prospective or current student-athletes and their family and friends.
