Qualifications

The Knights Hall of Fame is established to recognize individual Central Penn College athletes excelling nationally in their academic and athletic career and 1 of the following criteria:

  • Selected by its national governing affiliation such as USCAA, NCAA to both the National Academic All-American Team along with the Sport Team 1st or 2nd team in the same season,
  • Selected by its national governing affiliation such as USCAA, NCAA a 2 X Sport All American
  • Voted on by the KABC voting members to the KABC Hall of Fame.

2019

Jerry Lynn Biller III - #9

Baseball - Pos: 2B
Hometown/High School: Brandon, FL / Brandon High School

Jerry Biller III was Central Penn College's first Male Athlete in its school history to become both selected to a Sport All American Team and a National Academic All American in the same 2018 season. 2 X USCAA National All-Academic Team. The true meaning of Student Athlete. Jerry was the Second Baseman on 2013 Team America that competed against the Dominican Republic Academies, leading his team in stolen bases with Team America winning the tournament. In 2015 played for Team U.S.A. in Cuba. Following four days of competition with its final game against the Havana National Team, the team completed the tourney with a 5-0 record. Jerry graduated Brandon H.S. in 2016 ranked 7th in the country by MaxPreps in fielding, Defensive Player of the year with Brandon High School Baseball and National Player of the Week by Varsity Views.

2017 Jerry helped lead the CPC Baseball Team to the 1st USCAA top 10 Small College World Series. Jerry was a USCAA leader batting, OBP. and ranked 5th in the country in Stolen Bases with 21 along with being selected to the National All-Academic Team. Jerry secured many school records along the way to include, Co-Male Athlete of the Year, Career Averages of .67 Stolen bases per game with 36, B.A. of .380 with over 200 plate appearances, OBP .492, FPCT. 944. Jerry graduated in 2019 in just 3 years with a degree in Business Management through the opportunity to accelerate degree completion. Jerry is a founding member of the Knights Athletic Booster Club in 2019 and instrumental in the launch and strategic planning of the club's future.

2017

Tyree Tucker - #3 & #24

Men's Basketball - Pos: 6'4" Guard
Hometown/High School: Philadelphia, Pa./Frankford High School

Tyree is a 2 X USCAA Men’s Basketball All-American 1st Team with a career Scoring total of 1,660 and an ave. of 10.8 points a game. On Feb. 14, 2016 Tyree Tucker, broke the Central Penn Knights basketball team’s school record for most points scored during a game, since the college’s entrance into the USCAA. Tucker scored 53 points, was 19-33 shooting and 8-16 from behind the three-point line.

Nicole Schmidhamer - #4

Basketball - POS: Forward
Home Town/High School: Camp Hill, PA / Cedar Cliff

Nicole Schmidhamer was Central Penn College's first Female Athlete in its school history to become both selected to a Sport All American Team and a National Academic All American in the same 2015 season. The true meaning of Student Athlete. In 2015 Nicole was selected to the Women's Basketball All-American 2nd Team and the USCAA National All-Academic Team, in 2016 the Women's Basketball All-American Honorable Mention. Graduated in Legal Studies.

2015

Devon Dorsey - #23

Men's Basketball - Pos: 6'4" Power Forward
Hometown/High School: New Castle Del. / William Penn High School

Devon Dorsey, A 4 time 1st Men's Basketball All-American 1st Team and 2015 leading scorer of United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) DII men's basketball reaching 2,000+ career points scored with a 51.1 PCT. Devon won a state championship and was nominated as a McDonald's All-American in High school. He played all 4 years at Central Penn College averaging 18.4 points and 8.8 rebounds his senior year. Dorsey, from William Penn High School in New Castle, Del.,. "Dorsey has been the face of our program for the last four years," says Knights Coach Dave Baker "Dorsey has grown so much before our very eyes on the court, in the classroom and off the court," says Athletic Director Ed Liesch. "Knowing what he had to overcome just to reach this milestone and receive his degree is inspirational for all of us."

Devon Dorsey, Central Penn College USCAA DII, 6'7" Power Forward, signed for his second season in 2018 with Europrobasket in Tarragona, Spain.. After just a week in the Europrobasket International Academy program Devon received interest from many teams. He chose to sign in Tarragona, and had an outstanding season becoming the MVP of the league, averaging 24 pts and 14 rebs per game in Copa Catalunya! He resigned again this season as his club improved his contract. A graduate from Central Penn College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration.

Jasmine Robinson - #24

Jasmine Robinson, The first Central Penn student athlete Basketball Player to reach the 2,000 career point milestone during the Feb. 17 game against Christendom College. 2X Women's Basketball All-American Team. Central Penn College 2014 leading scorer of United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) DII women's basketball. Jasmine graduated Central Penn with a bachelor's degree in corporate communications.
